Small and cozy, but an absolutely wonderful place to chill and read a book for hours.  The staff is courteous but also leaves you to your own affairs so that you can dictate how you'd like to spend your time there.

I orderd both a latte as well as a pot of tea.  Both were delicious and full of flavor.  The food options are also pretty good. Sandwiches come with a side salad.  It's a great little hideaway.

Went to try this place out this weekend- had passed it multiple times and always thought  "must try that place out soon"- as it looked cute, cozy and the perfect place to grab a coffees & cake.

Got there at 3pm (place closed at 4pm)...upstairs tables were all taken, so headed on downstairs...only to have the barista chase us down to say "downstairs is closed because we close in an hour".

Since we couldn't find a spot upstairs, we left. The barista was pretty rude when telling us and have to say, I won't be going back any time soon- shame because the space was great for reading and I thought it might be my "local go-to coffee" spot. Lots of lost future business from me and my friends.

We walked a further 10 minutes to Baker & Spice, great coffees, great carrot cake and super nice staff!

Just moved to Maida Vale and was feeling lazy on Sunday -- wanted to grab a quick bite for take away for lunch. Decided to walk over to Toast to pick something up for my husband and myself.

I was surprised to find what an awesome little place this is. They had a great selection of panini and sandwiches (got my husband a ham & cheese panini) -- and fresh sushi and bento boxes (i got salmon sushi). Couldn't resist the baked goods, so also got a cookie :) Everything is quality, fresh and prices are good too.

I already know this place is going to be a favorite local stop. They also sell fresh baked bread, which I'll try next week.

Fairly decent lattes and pastries here. They have a cool upstairs and downstairs that feels like a living room. Some outdoor seating too. Free wi-fi.
One of the best things about this place... the state of the art bathroom. Check out the warmed toilet seat with bidet! LED lights on the tap that shift from magenta (hot) to blue (cold) when you wash your hands. A totally unexpected bonus in this cute place!
It's definitely my favorite cafe in Maida Vale.
